Reverchon Schiefer Riesling 2024 – Dry

REVERCHON’s Schiefer Riesling expresses the Saar in its purest, most classic form. Since its first release, it has been a compelling example of a style inseparable from this region: energetic, precise and full of character. Ripe fruit and saline minerality meet vibrant acidity, with native-yeast fermentation bringing freshness and clarity. Mirabelle plum, pear and yellow apple mingle with elderflower, mandarin and grapefruit, alongside candied ginger, fennel pollen and a hint of smoky, damp slate. On the palate, intense slate and herbal notes give a slender wine remarkable depth. The Saar’s characteristic salinity lends the finish an inviting freshness. It is little wonder that Schiefer is Reverchon’s most successful wine.
