Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc dry 2024

The cuvée displays a pale golden hue in the glass and makes an immediate impression. Abundant honeydew melon, hints of star fruit and Golden Delicious apple, framed by a delicate spiciness derived from lees aging and a pleasant oak note (completely devoid of vanilla notes from new wood or heavy toasting). On the palate, this Burgundy blend is wonderfully creamy yet refreshingly light thanks to its subtle citrus aromas. The wine possesses aromatic depth without any alcoholic heaviness, is remarkably smooth and pleasantly silky, and offers a beautifully balanced interplay of mineral structure (Chardonnay) and delicate, predominantly light-fruited aromas and lightness (Pinot Blanc). The slate terroir contributes a saline finish and a satisfying kick on the palate.
