On the palate, nuances of cinnamon and cloves add a spicy touch to the fruit of apricots and nectarines, without compromising the dry character of the wine. Strong in taste and compact in expression, the wine seems a bit impetuous in this early phase.  The phenolic is still somewhat in the foreground, and a stony minerality also shows edge.
